Tracking storm chances tonight and a hot week aheadTONIGHT: I'm tracking a line of storms that will enter to the north in areas like Chariton, Macon, and Randolph county around 7-8 PM tonight. This area and this time will be the most likely chance for stronger to potentially severe storms. Severe storms will not be widespread, and the primary concern with any severe storm will be damaging winds up to 60 mph and hail stones up to 1" in diameter. Storms and their potential to produce severe weather will fall apart as they shift further south through the overnight hours.
